check, check.

we're checking stuff off our summer to do list already.
i taught the girls how to fold pretty papers into
chatterboxes [or cootie catchers!] last night.
they love them.
i remember doing these for hours.  now they are.

today, we checked off beach for the first time this summer!
so.much.sand to clean up tonight, but so very worth it.
hooray for summer!

  3. LOVE!

Our boys will stick their toes in the sand & salt water for the first time this summer.
I am so, so excited for this summer and the memories it will bring.

  4. I'm feeling the same way today! We went to the brand new public pool in our small hometown today (which was FANTASTIC for 4 small ones), my husband mowed the grass this afternoon, and we're grilling with good friends tonight...with the works including watermelon, snow cones AND s'mores!!! NOTHING BETTER.

  7. ah yes. hooray for summer with the best kind of mom! not only are you wise and compassionate, you're so much fun.

which beach do you frequent most? i'd like to find something fun within a few hours' drive for our clan.

  8. Yesterday was the most perfect beach day! We went to the River Walk but didn't have time to walk on the shore. Hopefully this evening if it doesn't rain!
