a little saturday morning fun!
i had breakfast out this morning with most of the
Listen to Your Mother cast. so fun to talk about life,
the show & the feedback that we've gotten from it.
i got the video from the show & was so encouraged to see
that i didn't imagine it just because i was there in the moment--
it is real & validating & touching & hilarious.
i'll link to it here as soon as it is available on-line!
i'm thankful that there are stories in the Bible that teach us to
keep praying for something & ask over & over again.
to ask others to join you.
to not lose heart.
friends, we continue to need prayer about the adoption.
there is a period of time in summer that a date will not be possible.
will you specifically pray with us that we will get a date before that
period of time?
with all my heart...thank you.

ReplyDeleteWe are reading thru Job and it's awesome how God shows us right there that - because He says what Job did was right (and Job did a lot of complaining about his circumstances)- that it's okay for us to talk about the rough spots, too. We don't have to always be positive and never talk about the negative, because we need those prayers and the lifting up from friends and family. Of course, some people are optimists at heart, or pessimists. That's different. Anyway. I know they will be here soon and you'll have your heart at rest in one time zone!

When we were waiting on our little girl, we often relied on Ephesians 3:20 from the Message: God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!

ReplyDeleteWhich is funny because as I was looking at the pyramid I thought, "They almost have their own cheerleading team!" How fun the 7 children will be for playing sports outdoors together and such.
That pyramid is awesome.
