let's get mama.

our day started with mickey mouse pancakes.

the little ones did this as i cleaned the kitchen:

they are so funny.

yesterday was Orphan Sunday.

i hope for the day when we don't have to have a special day

to recognize our calling to care for the fatherless.

in honor of it, i posted resources that our family

loves & supports, along with a giveaway of some of those things!

i've been checking some out as they come in & i'm so encouraged by the good.

the fact remains that 30,000 children are dying from preventable causes
every single day and we have the resources to prevent that.  

15 MILLION children have lost both parents

and we have the hearts & homes to love them.

will it ever be perfect?

not on this side of heaven.

but, for now?

we are here.

the answer is us.
