mini.

after church yesterday, we did family lunch then the babies laid down for a their nap.
matt went downstairs to watch the football games.  i even checked on some scores.  do you know
fantasy football?  well, it's basically the only "extracurricular activity" matt does at all.
otherwise, we just truly enjoy family time & having our friends' families over.
anyway, i don't totally get the whole fantasy football thing, but if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right?!
matt asked if i wanted in this year.
i happen to have the most points in the league this week. by twenty. and still have a player tonight.
[what up, boys?!]

my checking of the scores was short-lived, though.
i asked the big girls if they wanted to sneak out on individual mini-dates.
i picked something we needed to do & they picked a treat.

chloe: pair of shoes & banana split.
anika: pair of pants & m&m flurry.
ellie: grocery shopping & cotton candy.

i love being intentional with our time.  these 60 minutes at a time are
full of much more than i would ever think could come out of that short amount of time.

---------------------

i planned on sharing 31bits with you today; ways that you could join in to help.
i'm having technical difficulties with the camera that holds those pictures, but
will have it ready for tomorrow.  will you think about how you could help?

this may just be a few dollars to us to wear a pretty piece of jewelry, but
to the Ugandan women that it is helping, it is LIFE.
it is about clean water, food, shelter, school for their children,
& learning sustainable living.

i'm excited to give holiday gifts this year that bring LIFE to others.
i be seriously honored if you'd join me!
