i got bangs yesterday.
we are not friends yet.
i miss my curly hair, but
now i'll look forward to it so much in the spring.
i apparently have a silver hair.

hmm, guess there's probably more than one.
i'm okay with it.
i'm also okay with the fact that i'll be 31 very soon.
while we're talking silly first world issues,
i made this pumpkin dessert last night & it is seriously amazing.
i'm on the hunt for a good bread maker. any recommendations?
i love these. a lot.

ReplyDeleteI have 4 recurring silver hairs and I pull them OUT OUT OUT!!! I'm sure there are more, but I'm in denial. I'm not even 30!! And I'm not married, which means the world lectures you about how old you look and you better get married before you get any more silver hairs.

ReplyDeletebreadmaker: i don't think you can go wrong. i still use the one we got for our wedding 12 years ago. it fell off the counter once and the top broke off and i just set it on top. it works fine!

ReplyDeleteI'm going for a hair cut and color tomorrow. Hubs keeps telling me to "go crazy" and "shake it up", but I never do. I don't think I could handle bangs with my curly hair, but perhaps I'll get some copper highlights or something.
And at least your (one, singular) silver hair is lying down and behaving itself. My (many, plentiful) grey hairs poke out all over.
Now I'm off to check out your pumpkin recipe..

I always have bangs...at least for the last 4 years or so (maybe more) I think it looks great & I also love how you can rock your dark eye makeup. Something I wish I could do.
ReplyDeleteAs far as bread makers go, I have one but I just use it to mix the dough & let it rise. I love baking it in the oven so it looks like bread. As far as which one it is....I will email you because I haven't a clue and I am currently hunting for my camera battery charger & extra batteries as they have vanished into thin air and if I go upstairs I may get distracted again.
p.s. please don't ask me why I am on your blog when I am supposed to be looking for said missing batteries.

No bangs for me...hate having hair in my face...always have it pulled back or tucked behind my ears. I think it's cuz of the glasses?? just got my highlights redone yesterday. Hadn't done them since June. Believe me, I had MORE THAN ONE WHITE HAIR!! A big skunk stripe down my part line. Gone now (or just hidden). Having a 31 bits party of my own Nov. 2. Thanks for inspiring me!

I've had bangs/side bangs for a long time now and am just growing them out (growing ALL my hairs out, actually - er, at least the ones on my head. Ha!) and ... well, I'm not entirely convinced my forehead is small enough to NOT be covered by bangs.
Anyway, you look hot.
And I love your eye make up! (I wish I had a clue on how to do make up like that and totally rock it.)

ReplyDeleteI love the bangs! You're so brave. I would like to try something different, and really need a cut this week. I'm so pumped for our family photo with Beth next Saturday. We haven't had a family picture in 7 years!! How awful is that?!? Not sure if I want to change my hair this week. I should probably just get a trim. And I have MANY silver hairs. I might make those go away though ;)

ReplyDeleteI have to tell you, I already had so much silver/gray hair at the sides of my head that that is why Mr. Dw had my hair stylist lined up to color it...and I was 31.
Actually, a funny story: At the age of 29, just days before my 30 birthday {which I dreaded for months coming} I was plucking my eyebrow and found a silver hair in my eyebrow! I was literally just about to turn 30 in days and there was a silver eyebrow hair. I was so ticked off - it would not have been so devastating, but I was already dreading the big 3=0 and here it was seemingly being rubbed in my face! ha!
But scripture says that gray hair is a crown of glory - so embrace your crown princess girlfriend - you look lovely in it!
