right now...
...we're practicing what we "preach."
[you know i'm preaching the very most to myself, right?]
in a bit, we'll do ellie's IV, her nurse will come for a dressing change, then off to physical therapy.
[hoping her PICC line will come out tomorrow!]
later, our social worker will come for our first post-placement visit.
[i really should be cleaning, organizing or perhaps showering.]
much later, i'll be joining in one of my best friend's on-line baby shower. you really should come, too!
[also? you should allow yourself to have a very best group of friends. it's such a blessing.]

ReplyDeleteYou amaze me. Isnt it crazy how we just take the insanity that becomes every day life and roll with it?

I love reading your blog & hearing about your children.. because I enjoy your blog so much I have an award waiting for you on my blog. Thank you for sharing your day to day life with me.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute pic...love to watch children play.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your posts...they really make me think about making more of an effort to SEE my kids and HEAR my kids. To live in the moment. To get on the floor and play. To take time to giggle and hug and kiss them. Sometimes we just need reminded, amidst all the craziness we call life, to take a breather!
ReplyDeleteI just came across a great idea in the family fun magazine to take the kids on mystery mini trips...nothing expensive. The excitement of not knowing where they're going is half the fun. Might be a picnic in the park or swimmng at the lake. Or an overnight stay at a hotel. Or visiting friends or going to a movie. The point is to make it extra fun by making it a surprise and spending time together as a family. Love this idea and hope to start this tradition in our family soon! Just wanted to share!
Hugs to Ellie for being such a brave girl! ;)
I love you, you are wonderful and such a blessing.
