challenges--a bit late

i've recently discovered the fabulous boutique cafe. i'm loving the fashion forward friday challenges....and although i've done 2 so far...i've had no time to post them!! =(

last week was a shorts challenge. i seriously haven't worn shorts in public in 2 1/2 years, but i had recently bought this super cute kenneth cole set and it came with linen shorts. so, picture this jacket and shirt, with cute, mid length shorts and red, peek-toe, high heeled wedges. i did wear them out....just couldn't snap a pic that day!

this week's challenge is to show off your ponytail. although my normal-everyday up-do is very similar to morgan's bird's nest....i occasionally need a change. this pic was from last week on our way to the red's baseball game. i know it's probably cheating....i'll try to actually get a picture of myself specially for the challenge next week!!

so this pony tail is obviously pigtails. to keep them from looking too toddler-ish, i zig zag my part. then secure them low & messily. finally pull out a little at the crown for a tiny bit of height. i notice now that i upload the picture, its kind of hard to see. *sigh*
