just popping in to let you know that the announcement for the winners
of Esther's all for love giveaway will not be posted today. so sorry, but
i want to do this in the best, most ethical way possible. in order to do that,
i need to assign every person that commented a number [or numbers] according
to their donation & shares after matching up their donation comment with
the official donation record. as you know, the donations went to the
awesome organization Project Hopeful--so i'm awaiting the official
donation sheet from them.
you have to promise to cut them some slack! do you know about
Project Hopeful? they are an awesome organization that is run entirely by
volunteers--most of them super busy moms that just love these children that
need it the most. Project Hopeful advocates for the most vulnerable of children.
Project HOPEFUL’s mission is to educate, encourage, and enable
families
and individuals to advocate for and adopt children with HIV/AIDS and
other of the most overlooked children for adoption.
i love so many things about Project Hopeful, but let me list some for you quickly:
•they spread truth that HIV is now considered a chronic, manageable disease
that is impossible to transmit in a normal household setting.
[this truth means more orphans w/ HIV are starting to actually find loving homes as truth spreads!]
•they have a Hope+ sisterhood where you can sponsor an HIV+ mother in a residential program
while they get medical & emotional care & learn job skills.
[this prevents HIV orphans!]
•they tirelessly advocate for the most vulnerable of orphans in need of families--
this has included several children i've advocated for including precious Esther!
the children may be overlooked due to HIV, a special need or simply because they are
older or a sibling group. here's their list of children waiting right now.
[so dear to my heart. none of those labels have to be scary!]
as you can see, they are just doing awesome things in the world of orphan care,
advocacy and prevention. they are also in the running right now for a $50,000
grant. i've been voting every single day--it's super easy. maybe you'd like to, too?
here's a quick, easy, free way that could mean so much to some of the most vulnerable
children in the world:

[will be back as soon as i can with winners!]
