her shirt is truth.

as much as [long-legged] bianca girl & i would love to stay and chat,
it's just not in the cards today.  let me just rattle off quickly what comes
to mind.  this girl is my little sidekick.  i love it.  as difficult as i know it will
be at times in the Fall to have 4 children under 4 home with me, i'm really thankful
that she and clayton won't be in school yet.  speaking of, i'm dreaming of all our kiddos
home again someday, sweet days of homeschooling, some land & chickens.  it's not in the
immediate future, but daydreams don't have to be, right?  [and i get that not every moment
of homeschooling is sweet.]  i got another peek at our 2 little babes this week.  the doctor
didn't get some information she needed from the first ultrasound report, so i went right over
for another.  missing piece of information was good & our girlies are growing
right along.  they are starting to have some major parties in there & it is fun!
i'm feeling all nest-y, but it has to come along slowly.  i know that's okay.
we're starting to get rooms re-organized, the cribs are ordered & we've
bought them 2 coordinating outfits.  [trying to go slooow there.  it's
hard!]  matt's parents are here for a couple weeks & it's a huge
help to have them around.  they initially came because i was
on day 6 of a debilitating migraine. i started seeing a
chiropractor & will forever be sold out to chiropractic
medicine.  i haven't had even a headache since.
finally, an update from yesterday's post.  thank
you to each person who has prayed, shared
and donated. $2800 has been raised so
far for Esther. can you help get the
last $1200?  go here!

  2. i'm SO excited to have all my boys home with me next year and to begin our journey in homeschooling! like you said, i completely realize that it won't always be easy but the things that are worthwhile rarely are! the land & chickens...not so much for me. ;) praying for sweet Esther and the family God has called to step out in obedience to bring her home!

  3. i dream of the childhood i had, with calves and fields and resevoirs to swim in. i'm doing the best i can with the little piece of the world we own...we homeschool so that we can spend as much time exploring the world as we can. it has come with soooo many blessings.

the chickens will come one day.

best wishes for the babes to come.
