a call for help.

i know it's been quiet here about Esther.  i'm so thankful for the many of you that
have continued to pray & ask about her.  you don't know who Esther is?  you can
click on the her 'tag' at the bottom of this post to read all my posts on her, but let
me catch you up briefly.

Esther is a 4 year old little girl that i met when we adopted clayton 2 1/2 years ago.
she has been waiting for her family for a long, long time.  she has some special needs
and just the right family is needed where she can flourish with love, therapy and proper
medical care.  many people have been searching for that family for quite some time.
there are many reasons that i've had to stay quieter in this process and you can trust that
i'll be shouting from the rooftops of His glory when everything is official, but for now,
i have to be vague.  what i can tell you is that i need your help.  esther needs your help.
a family needs your help.

there is a family that whole-heartedly loves esther & desires for her to be their daughter.
after prayer, they have stepped out in obedience and submitted all the proper paperwork.
they have been asked to come very quickly, spend time with Esther & make sure that they
are the right family for this precious treasure.  they have very reasonable expectations
and deeply feel in their hearts that she is meant for their family,
but they have to complete this visitation step in order to be officially matched as her family.

this is where we all come in.
this is a situation that needs to happen quickly & many of us wouldn't just have
the funds to make a sudden trip to the other side of the world.
could you help this family make this trip happen?

i'm prayerful that we can raise $4,000 in the next 48 hours.
can you join us with whatever amount your heart feels led to give?
you can trust that no amount is too big or too small.

make your tax deductible donation to esther's account here:

thank you for allowing this space to be about more than my family or my thoughts.
thank you for allowing it to be bigger than any of us could be if we stood alone.
there is power in our hearts standing together believing that this little girl deserves
love and a family.  thank you for standing with me...
with this family...
with Esther.

  4. Hello, just wanted to add that I too am praying for Esther and her family. My husband and I are hoping and praying for a way to fund our fertility treatments to have our second child, so to hear that a family is so close to their child but so far goes straight to my heart! It wasn't much, but I had to make a donation to help them. Thank you for sharing about Esther and her future forever family, can't wait to hear that she's home with them. :)
