just life.

i'm so thankful for a semi-normal weekend.  i was able to stand and just be
with the family.  it sounds dramatic, but it's a big thing right now and i'm really
grateful.  jude helped clean and dry grapes.  [all those were gone by
the end of the next day, per usual for fruit in our house!]  matt took the boys to
the barber shop so the girls made brownies.

nico wanted to make sumbusas, so the girls joined in there, too.  they are a really thin
dough formed into a triangle pouch, filled with rice & onions [or other veggies] &
fried.  we all love them & it's such a fun treat that nicolas knows all this Ugandan cooking.

we even had entertainment while they worked.  ellie sang This Little Light of Mine
while clay was on guitar and bianca on keytar.  thank you for your love and prayers.
i don't know if it's better for good [this morning seemed to prove otherwise] but i'm
thankful for these moments and this little life that is healthy & growing despite what
i'm experiencing.  hope you have a great start to the week, friends!
