for fun.
let's announce some winners, shall we? seems like a perfect thing to do
on a cold, grey & super windy day.
i wanted to give away a Kisses from Katie book to someone who helped us
with the clean water well in the village of Busoga, Uganda. if you haven't
read about what our boy, Nico, took me to see there, you can
see the water they have to drink right now here.
i'll share soon the mighty things the Lord has done, but i can
tell you that the well is completely funded. the work is just about
set to start very soon. can you imagine what a blessing clean
water will be to them?! oh, what i take for granted.
thank you to each person that donated, spread the word &
prayed about this need. i can't wait to let the people of Busoga
thank you for your part in it!
congratulations to Kodi of a brighter yellow--a Kisses for Katie book is on the way!
it was so fun to do the shop with purpose post. how wonderful that
we can truly make a difference with our gifting.
bridgette was featured in the post & she wants to give one
of her green Redeemed bracelets away!
congratulations, Vanessa of Jewels & Treasures!
if you'd like to get one in your choice of colors by Christmas,
she must have your order here by the evening of Dec. 1st.
i love mine. they are just $12, meaningful and help her
get their little boy home.
[whom i've happened to get to love on on the other side of the world & pray he's home soon!]
what a perfect gift.
i thought the ugandan vanilla was such a unique, fun gift...
especially when it's helping an adoption! so, let's give one
of those away, too!
congratulations, erin at school teacher by day, superhero by night!
[hope shane makes you something yummy with it!]
and my friend, anna, wanted to donate a pound of her
homemade laundry soap to someone! anna & i went to college together,
but weren't necessarily close until we found our hearts both beat the
same for orphan care. she went on the trip with me when i met
nico & jude. what a special time.
their family is in the adoption process and all sales from her
laundry soap will go towards their adoption fund!
congratulations, Ryley at That's My Family!
also, wanted to let you know that that i received my Love is Rising
shirt today and adore it. she did let me know that there will be more shirts
available in a variety of sizes the first week of December!
finally, if you were part of giving gifts to the kids of Uganda,
[our sons' former orphanage & the surrounding villages!]
the Hands of Hope team has recently arrived in Uganda and will be
blogging their trip. even though we may not know exactly which
gift is from us, my kids are on the lookout for the gifts they individually chose.
will be fun to watch the team, see their other work & get a glimpse
of part of my heart over there! you can follow along here.
there you have it. hope you're having a great week, friends!

I am SOOOO excited their well was fulled funded. I hope one day you and Nico can travel back to see that village drinking CLEAN water.
