just one.
there is something really awesome about allowing yourself to be quiet enough to hear the whispers.
it is easy to say no.
or maybe.
or later.
or He's not really asking that.
or surely someone else would be better at that.
or what difference could i make with that?!
but, when we can hear the whispers and be brave enough to say YES?
well, amazing things happen then!
jeannette heard a whisper & had a big dream for a sweet little boy named Cliff.
he lives in eastern europe in an orphanage.
he happens to have down syndrome. he needs a family. jennette decided
that she could help raise funds so that when Cliff's family finds him, part of this
financial burden will be already taken care of!
can you even imagine....his family is probably out there right now praying
that they can figure the money part of adoption out & little by little,
it is been taken care of for them!
i love it.
so, in just over a month, Cliff now has over $7600 in his account! here is the thing though....
every single dollar was given by someone. every single dollar counted. every single dollar
added up to get to that total. and now? jeannette is asking us to give just a dollar.
will you believe in the beauty that is a bunch of people coming together to speak up
for a precious little boy that
just can't speak up for himself right now?
i'm off to give mine now.
will you join me here?
[she is happening to give away a Silhouette here, but go read about Cliff first & give your dollar. pretty please?!]

You have such a beautiful heart Lovelyn. Consider it

Thank YOU for helping spread the word! It is MUCH appreciated!!!
ReplyDeleteWill definitely be speaking to G about this! This little boy is so precious, I wish we were further along on our journey! Hopefully his family will find him soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this. I gave $5. It's not much, but it occurred to me that if all 431 of your followers gave $5 it would be over $2,100!
ReplyDeleteDone! This is so moving and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteDone! I always regret when I choose not to give...especially when, really, what is a few dollars to me? But to someone who wants to adopt..along with all those other dollars, it's a different life.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Love, for giving me an opportunity to give, even just a little bit.
Isn't he sweet? (The answer is "yes"). :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving a voice to the voiceless, Lovelyn. You ARE making a difference.
