girls + sun + sprinkler + popsicles = BLISS
i have seriously been longing for the hot sun! i'm beyond thankful for the gorgeous last couple days that we've had. here's some pics of the girls enjoying their beautiful sun, silly sprinkler and refreshing popsicles. i'm so in love with them! = )
here's their first look at the sprinkler! when i held up anika's swim suit for her to put on she said, "wat dat, mama?!" i love that we spent almost every day at the country club pool last summer, yet it's still all fresh & new to a 2 year old!
and littlest sis ellie chillin' in her seat. playing the occasional peek-a-boo or pat-a-cake...she's content to just watch her big sisters run around. what joy it will be to have 3 little ones running around next spring! =)
they made up this game where they ran and threw the carrots close to the sprinkler. they then hurried to see who could run in and get them, then place them in the wagon. too cute...i'm so thankful they have each other. i pray they'll cherish that friendship always!

and speaking of sibling friendship, i watched a new (to me) show tonight. jon & kate plus 8. have you seen this? they have a set of twins and a then sextuplets!! yes, that's TWO 6 year olds and SIX 2 year olds. holy cow! i really enjoyed seeing the children and how the parents approach doing the things that we do everyday. though i'm not sure if i'll continue watching. i found the wife to be very rude and disrespectful to the husband. and i didn't agree with the way they spoke to each other in front of the children. nonetheless, i'm going to give it one more try. i don't dare profess to know what raising 8 under 7 years old would be like, but i still laughed at loud at some of the happenings! (as i know them all too well!)

It looks like you guys had a blast out enjoying the awesome weather. We need to get a sprinkler and baby tub so we can enjoy it too!
ReplyDeleteI saw that! I couldn't begin to imagine!!!
