stitch fix ::: one

have you heard of Stitch Fix?  you create a style profile, receive

5 handpicked items by mail from your stylist and you keep what you love

and send back the rest.  i love the idea of this and just received my

first 'fix'--so i thought i'd share it with you!

i was so excited to receive the box that i started trying on right away.

first up was a houndstooth print fit & flare dress.  i was skeptical....and 

right.  the fit was just wrong on me and it was too short for my liking

in a dress.  verdict: RETURN

next up was a cheyanne printed dolman sleeve cardigan.  the print was 

something that i wouldn't normally pick, but i like the style a lot.  i

was hopeful for this one since i like the idea of these 'fixes' pushing me

outside my box.  i think it was just way too big.  

verdict: RETURN

next, i tried the Kensie sophia skinny jeans with a Daniel Rainn blouse.

i've been needing this color and style of jean, so was super happy that

i loved the fit.  i definitely never would have pulled this

print of blouse to try on in a store, but i was pleasantly 

surprised.  the fit was one of my favorites--3/4 length sleeve

and tunic length.

verdit for both: KEEP 

by the way, the babies basically just wanted to do this the whole time! :)

the Bay to Baubles bib necklace pictured below was cute, but

i think i'll have to REALLY love a piece of jewelry to stray from

my love of companies like Noonday and 31bits.

overall, this was super fun and i look forward to future fixes.  you are

able to give feedback as you check out so that your fixes should get better

and better.  when you fill out your style profile, you can link to a 

pinterest board & i know from her note that my stylist, jackie,

peeked at my blog.  i love that they use those ways to get to

know their clients better.
