ever.
we took a mini trip a few weeks ago. we try to visit an indoor waterpark in
february because that is about the time that winter is getting the best of me.
it didn't work out this year, but we had just the right pocket of time so we
headed up to the wisconsin dells.
someone asked [on instagram] if i'd do a post on traveling with a large family.
i don't really feel like i have tips for that. we just do it. family vacations are
important to us so we just figure it out. we do have a big trip planned this
summer, so maybe i'll document some of the preparation/planning/packing, etc.
we had the perfect time there--so much fun. i smiled as i found this note from
ellie on the bedside table. i think she liked it. i think they all did.
I agree about the 'I just do it', I have 9 kids and I've even traveled alone with them when a need arose - just do it and embrace it. The fun and sense of wonder that they perceive the experience will come from you.

Kaish loves it there so much. We will surely go sometime this summer. I just looked at the calendar and didn't see a spot in there for it, but I know we will adjust the calendar and make room.

you were so close to me.. we live about an hour away! you and your family are an inspiration to me! we are currently fostering a little boy right now in addition to our normal 3. sometimes its so overwhelming but i think about you and it inspires me. i bought your print from etsy i cant wait to hang it!
