goodbye, summer.
continuing my backtracking for my memory's sake.
these pictures were a week before the twins arrived.
it was basically the end of summer 2012.
it wasn't the active, adventurous summer that i imagined, but i'm so thankful
that a huge prayer was answered--that i be able to stay off bedrest in order to
enjoy the summer with the rest of the family. i, of course, would've done whatever
it took for the babies health, but the desire of my heart was answered. we even had
the best day at the county fair the day before the babies' birth.
my favorite part was just being all together every day.
we got lots of pool time and went from having one great swimmer to having
four great ones and two more almost there! there were campfires with smores,
$1 movie theater days, flower girls in weddings, family baseball games at the park,
chloe & nico's baptism, Outback cheese fries followed
by stops at the candy factory, ice cream waffle cones, beach days,
endless playing at the park, a baseball game with small group, many
books read & lego creations built. it was perfect.
love that these pictures are time stopped right there for a few minutes so we can remember.
thank you so much to hannah grace photography for capturing them.
