29 week bump.
i thought it was time for another bump update, but i couldn't properly
get the picture to really accurately portray the bump size with just a phone
and the length of my arm. i'm on the look out for a full length mirror. you've got to
be able to see this thing as we go through these last weeks.
and yes, weeks! at the very most, we have 9 weeks before we meet these girls,
but i'm full term [and she told me yesterday to plan for] in 6 weeks. that became super
real as i scheduled the rest of my OB appointments. i have one more in 2 weeks, then
it is to weekly appointments and ultrasounds! i remember how quickly that time goes by
at the end.
as far as accurately portraying the size of this [awesome & loved] bump, i'm at that
point in pregnancy where people kind of gasp when they see you. it's mostly fun
and definitely pretty funny. i come around a corner...gasp. meet someone going out
a door as i'm coming in....they gasp & move on back. even the sweet girl running the
Panera drive through as i sat in the passenger seat today took one look, gasped & exclaimed
YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE GONNA POP!
add in the gasps when they find out my due date isn't even the end of august, then another
as i explain it's twins....heaven forbid we get to the part where these are children number
8 & 9! truly, it's fun and people are usually so gracious, kind & encouraging.
i love our big, ol' family.
the girls have definitely gotten stronger even in the last week. i tend to call it the
gremlin stage & it is my very favorite. i love watching and feeling little body parts
push & roll & pop around in there. my energy has definitely decreased in this last
week, too, but i'm thankful to be able to rest when i need to & to have such a supportive
family & friends--including you. thanks for sharing some of our journey!

This is so fun to follow :)

ReplyDeleteI rarely comment but follow and send happy thoughts always.
ha! we don't in our town [well, we have a panera, but no drive through] but the town where i go to the chiropractor does!! yes....awesome, right?!
DeleteI was all hung up on you having access to a drive-through Panera (so much awesomeness, really), but then I saw your bump pic and you are such a gorgeous prego! Excited for your family!
ReplyDeletethank you!! yes, i didn't even know paneras had drive throughs, but the town where i go to the chiropractor does! awesome! =)
DeleteYou look SO tiny to me. I love your style too when pregnant! Where do you find your clothes?
ReplyDeletethank you! most clothes this time from motherhood maternity. i've had very, very few maternity clothes with the other 4 girls [just bought a size bigger & was particular about styles] but the twins seem to fit better in MM. =)
