less.
it's amazing how friendship knows no boundaries. it even transcends language.
our kids are making fast friends here and having so much fun.
ellie couldn't wait to get back to this friend in the village yesterday.
they run and play and laugh and get dirty. it's awesome.
why do we need so much in america?
nico is happy to be climbing trees again. it is a blessing that our
boys love their home country. i'm thankful that they have wonderful
memories here and have so looked forward to coming back. several
people have made comments and asked if our non-traditional adoption
[out of birth order x 2] has really been as 'fluffy' as i've portrayed it.
i hope that i've eluded to a few difficulties [some will always come with
changes in the family] but for the most part is has been really good and fluffy.
one thing that we are prayerful that this trip does is level the playing ground a
bit for our oldests. it has been neat for nico to be able to know the ropes here
and show his sisters his country.
chloe and anika learned some ugandan hand jives from the school girls
and they taught them some in return. the one our girls like the best lists
menu items from mcdonalds so it was fun to hear the girls try to learn it
in their ugandan accents. what fun to be here!
