waiting.

this is our little man and i waiting yesterday.  everything went well and
we will know more early next week.  thank you so much for your words
yesterday.  it really is amazing to know how many people are cheering us
and praying us and loving our boys.  thank you.
we are waiting below for rolexes.  when i am away, they are one of the things that
i miss the most.  it is chapatti [a thick, delicious tortilla-like food] and
egg that is mixed with onion, tomato & sometimes cabbage.  so good
and i love their little places & the people working them here.
a theme here is waiting.  and i guess we have really been in a season
of waiting anyway.  it's okay.  it is refreshing to walk along the roads
and not be so hurried that we don't speak.  encouraging for restaurant owners to
come sit down with you at your table and tell you about all the children
they fostered, cared for & loved  over the years.  humbling to realize that
despite believing you are a patient person, having to remind yourself that
an hour and a half at the bank here really isn't a tragedy.  i'm thankful for
the [seen & unseen] blessings that come in waiting.

  2. While I don't comment on every one of your posts, I read them all and pray continually for you and your boys. Your family is such an inspiration to me. You are doing something that I long to do and need to find a way to provide the funds to allow us to do so. My husband isn't on board, so I read your posts and pray that his heart would be open to the possibility. Meanwhile, I watch your story unfold and am grateful that there are people like you in this world to give those beautiful children a forever family. May God continue to bless you and yours. XOXOXO ;)

  5. I am praying for you Love and want you to know that you (and many others) have inspired me to start my own journey to pursuing an international adoption. I have just begun the home study process but am thrilled to say that what began as a whisper in my heart is now working its way to becoming a reality. God works miracles everyday and He is holding you and your family in his heart.
    Sending you love and blessings!!
