renewal in the form of cupcake.

yesterday, grace came in the form of a husband putting up with my mess

while i tried to help everyone else.  mercy came in a friend that took our

big girls for the park and treats.  renewal came in the form of a cupcake

delivered & eaten on the bed with my wise, compassionate 7 year old.

love came in the form of typed letters in an e-mail--strung together by

a virtual stranger, yet friend, to bless me at just the right time.  strength 

came across my phone with the words 'armor up' from my soul sister who

knows so well the battles that come as critical parts of adoption draw near.

this is the point of this life thing--grace, mercy, renewal, love, strength

personified.  i'm thankful for all of it & the people that allowed themselves

to be used as a means to it.  so, so thankful.
