out.
we slept in and now the kids are blowing up pool toys & floaties.
not necessary for them to do, but it certainly is a great activity for them
right now. we were certain that our last vacation would be our final one
as a family of seven. we didn't plan this one, as we weren't certain when
we would be a family of nine. last minute this worked out and the first thing
chloe said sadly was, i thought ___ & ___ would be with us on the next vacation.
sometimes, i wish that we hadn't gotten a time-frame, but i know, too, that it
is helping our family. we wait expectantly. and [kind of] patiently.
and [really] hopefully.
in the mean time, we head to the beach.
we are still praying for a miracle of a court date before the
seemingly apparent next ones of mid-september. thank you for joining us!

ENJOY! And know many are praying along with you. We know the 'wait'

ReplyDeletePraying with you!!!!!! Enjoy vacation with your beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteI so know this feeling. When we began our adoption, I told my kiddos that their sister would most likely be home from Ethiopia after their next birthdays. That was before things slowed down in Ethiopia. The other day, my son said "Hey...we all had birthdays! We're 3,5 and 7 now. When is Rachel coming home?". It hurt my heart, but I know God's timing is perfect and this is an opportunity to teach my little ones that.
