joy.

we have had a beautiful, long weekend here.
it has been a much needed few days of relaxed fun in our home.
it was needed.  things got suddenly busier & unfocused than they should be
and i'm so grateful for this time to refocus our hearts.

we spent a lot of time doing art, playing, cooking, telling the Easter story, talking
about how Jesus died & rose again to give us full life now and forevermore.
i've got that forevermore thing down--looking forward to the new world greatly--
yet, i'm realizing that i've lost some [a lot?] of my joy right now.

i'm thankful that despite anything else--sadness, hurt, longing, pain--
i'm called & empowered to have joy right now because of Him.
how did i begin to forget that?

praying you [and me] a joy-filled Easter & week!

    LOVE Clay's shoes. So fun.

(We have those polka leggings which are still in the box because they are so thin I'm scared of holes at first wear. Oh well, sigh.)

    Darling pic. :)
