project updates!
i want to update you on some projects.
the clean water well that you all gave for my birthday is
being built in Central African Republic!
anyone that contributed will receive an e-mail with the GPS location
of the well when it's completed.
remember when i told you about the imprisioned children in Ug*nda
and God raised $5661.27 through you for these precious children?!
here's an update from my communication with Sixty Feet:
the children in that northern region prison that did not have clean water
are very close to getting it! they are getting things replaced that were broken
and Sixty Feet's man on the ground in country is scheduled to make the 6 hour
trip there very soon. they are going to send me pictures to share with all of you
and i'm so excited to see the fresh, clear water like the facility below received
last Fall with Sixty Feet's help!
the extra money is going towards getting these kids initial medical care.
there is a nurse that will be seeing them regularly now. there is even extra
money on top of these two crucial things and they are discerning where it is
needed most. the reality is that there are so many needs. Sixty Feet has come
to realize that the outlying 'rehabilitation centers' are literally getting nothing
and have great needs. please pray for the needs to be revealed, discernment
for allocation of the funds and ultimately for the word to spread & more resources
to come in for these children.
there is a really fun way that our family will be participating in
to raise awareness and funds for the children in these prisons.
The Cupcake Kids is an awesome way to get your kids involved!
They are hosting a National Cupcake Kids day on
Saturday, April 16th
the idea is that people all over the nation sell cupcakes and goodies
on the same day and all the proceeds go to Sixty Feet for the imprisioned
children they serve. what an easy way to make a difference. i've seen the
sum of many people doing [what they think] is a little adding up to a whole lot!
would you like to join?
they are trying to get at least one sale in each state!
can you help color in any more of these states blue?!
[who do you know in Alaska, Hawaii or Idaho?]
even if your state already has a sale, please join in!
even if your state already has a sale, please join in!
i'd love to hear if you're joining in, then hop over to The Cupcake Kids
to get all the details and do a quick registration!
our kids are E.X.C.I.T.E.D!
