clouds.
ellie bellie.
she is the sweetest, little challenge.
sometimes, i have a tendency to only remember the very best.
while i'm thankful for this gift, i want to remember how utterly fiesty our elle belle is, too.
she is stubborn and full of her way.
in the next breath though?
she is the most joyful, grateful child
with the best questions ever...
mom, will Jesus hold my hand in heaven so i don't fall off the clouds?
mom, will Jesus hold my hand in heaven so i don't fall off the clouds?
oh, i love her.

that little question brought serious tears to my eyes! You have amazing children!

ReplyDeleteThat sounds like my Adelaide to a "t". Just a guess - she's your 3rd, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteOh those eyelashes!! What a beauty!
ReplyDeleteMy first Addie is a lot like that too! She is our first and is not a typical pleasing first child. She is fiesty, dramatic and has an attitude a mile long. BUT I have found she knows her sin and once she repents feels her need for God even greater than my more compliant kiddos
ReplyDeleteOh how this sounds just like my 2nd little one and he is having a hard day. Thank you for the reminder that when he wakes from his rest he will knock me down with his tenderness.
ReplyDeleteshe is beautiful, love. just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteshe is a wonder. so much trust and beautiful expectation--oh, to see with the heart of a child.
ReplyDeleteI love that you say you have a tendency to only remember the best. She is adorable. Such a fun age.
