yes.

there is a lot of uncertainty in life, but that doesn't mean that it's okay
for me to say no to what He has called me to do.
commanded me to do.
and when i say yes?
it's not about blessing me, but it does.
most importantly, i hope & pray that saying yes
glorifies God.
is He calling you,
commanding you...

to downsize your house?
to upsize your house and fill it?
to answer an orphan's cry for a family?
to simplify?
to spend more time investing in someone's heart?
to stop doing and start resting in His love?
to stop working so much & spend more time on the eternal?
to play more?
to love better?
to stop all your questioning and just go?
to stop all your wondering and just say yes?

[my answer is yes.  to a lot of these.]

  1. thank you for this, Love. I've really been worrying over something that would be a BIG deal and a big change for our family. Thank you for this reminder to rest in whatever God has called us to do.

  9. It's so much easier to say YES when God prods you...otherwise, He just keeps prodding you and then all you get is bruised. :) Thanks for reminding us that we should listen to His directions.

  13. If only more people understood that it's in obedience, the blessing comes! It's not always easy obedience...I think of Abraham with his son on a mountain...but the blessing came, a replacement for sacrifice. Abraham named that place "The Lord Will Provide" and it's when we step out in faith/obedience, that He provides in miraculous ways!
Thanks for finding us again! We love what you stand for!!

  15. Love, this post hit me hard. There have been some things weighing on my mind lately about what I desire and what God desires for me. They clash all too often, and more often than not I choose me, me, me. I'm a work in progress for sure. I need to learn to say yes more without questioning why so much.
