nana's love

my mom {nana} made bianca this quilt. she did every step of it herself. i adore it...and i know bianca will one day, too.

she's making the rest of her {EIGHT} grandchildren their own quilt, too. (can you imagine?! my mom is only 51 and has eight grandchildren ages 6 and under! so blessed!)

i'm so thankful that my girls are growing up knowing my mom's unconditional love and patience. they adore their nana!

thank you to everyone who voted for our family picture! we got 2nd place and i'm thankful for our prize!

i added a new button to the right that you can check out the girl's shots from a recent "modeling" shoot. to vote, it is a dollar...but all the proceeds go to "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep," which is an awesome organization of professional photographers that give greiving parents lasting memories of the babies they have lost, through photos.

i am very mindful of being so blessed by having had 4 healthy pregnancies & children.....i would be so thankful for these photos if i ever had to experience that tragedy. so, even if you only have a dollar to spare...it's going to a great cause. {and my little models and i would sure love it, too!}

  1. nana's are the greatest! my mom is nana too and she is the greatest thing on earth to her 7 grandkids! unfortunately for us . . . she is more than 600 miles away. :O( we are really looking forward to her visit in a couple of weeks!

    about our little buddy . . . he wasn't in "the plan" but we are so thankful "the plan" isn't ultimately up to us! he is the sweetest little thing ever . . . and am so thankful we were blessed with a little guy!

    And what a special organization Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep is. Some of our very best friends lost a baby at 22weeks and i can tell you that those photos are soooo special to those families. Can't wait to vote for your cuties and give to such a wonderful cause!

  4. That is a beautiful quilt...and Bianca's fashion sense is already better than mine, I think!

    There's not much better than Nanas, if I do say so myself.
