some days are just perfect.
there was even a rainbow.....
this is one of those days.
when those handprints smudged on the stairwell can wait.
the red & white shirt definitely matches that pink skirt, blue belt & purple rain boots.
we, absolutely, can stay out for 5 more minutes.
because THIS is what it's all about.
one of our neighbors won an essay contest on neighborhoods. the contest was from edy's ice cream. so they supplied the whole neighborhood with ice cream. we wanted to do even more than that....so the town blocked off one of our streets for a block party.
there were carnival games, coloring contests, & tatoo stations. we had a huge pitch-in & cookout. then, delighted in our edy's. the fire department even brought one of their engines and let the kids play in the water! it was a wonderful time.
there was even a rainbow.....
How fun! You caught that rainbow just right!

ReplyDeleteSo sweet! That is a picture of pure fun! Seriously, is your house as big as the one in the picture? I would be exhausted having to keep up with that much square footage! Emma is a little wrecking ball and I am tired keeping up with our house!

ReplyDeleteyes, it's about the same size. plus our basement is fully finished. i'm constantly in the middle of cleaning something...but aren't we all?!
